This project was recorded with my Brian Moore C55PM made for me in 2000. This guitar allows me to sound like an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar, and a synthesizer at any time I want to. I can change between all 3 quickly with a switch on my guitar.

The electric portion was sent to a Boss GT-Pro preamp, which shaped and twisted the sound.

The acoustic portion was sent to a Boss VF-1, which compressed and added delay and reverb to the signal.

The synth portion went to a Roland XV-5050 synthesizer, which allowed me to trigger sounds like strings, choirs, oboes, and pure electronic sounds.

All 3 of these signals went to a mixer, which then sent the signal to an Oberheim Echoplex Digital Pro, which is a looping device. It allows me to record as I play, and then overdub and manipulate the loop in many ways.

This is all controlled by my feet while playing. My feet have access to over 100 sounds, and if I take my hands off of the guitar and start pressing buttons, I have over 2000 different sounds I can access.

I also used a device called an Ebow, which allows infinite sustain on 1 string at a time. This was used many, many times.

Watch a video in the multimedia section for a demonstration of all of this at work. You can also see pictures of my current setup and how I use it at my website, here.

I built this system of making music over a long period of time, and it changes over time, although I am very happy with it right now.

This project was recorded on a PC running Steinberg Wavelab 5.
